If this film has to run in the box office it is only because of Ramya. But Ramya single handedly has not carried the film well so far in her career. The reason to tell like this is that the male protagonist role goes dull in this film.
Let director Nagashekar be Ramya fan, carry out various programs for her and do the PR job also for her. When it comes to cinema for the mass media it is wrong to concentrate on Ramya more. Is it because Ramya has also invested director Nagashekhar has done like this. For the first time the title card gives thanks to Ramya father RT Narayan and mother Ranjitha. It is nothing by Ramya driven cinema.
For carrying the whole film like yesteryear heroines Ramya has not achieved that status. Pleasing one Nagashekar has burnt his entire project that too at the money of Pramod Narayan and Murali Mohan.
However Sanju Weds Geetha is good in bits and pieces. Sanju in his home town Virajpet loves Geetha and it very quickly they agree for marriage. Geetha in bad past is worried about her relative in the house. Before Geetha meet Sanju the tormentor gives a major blow. Geetha is raped and is unconscious. Sanju kills the rapist. He is sentenced for imprisonment. Sanju in the very bad mood meets with another accident and loses her memory. The immensely loving Sanju and Geetha are in dismay.
Sanju in the prison knowing further tragedy in the life of Geetha and she is pregnant decided to break out from the prison. He is caught and the police fire at him. Around the same time the pregnant Geetha delivers a child. it is so sad that the child and Geetha dies. Sanju Weds Geetha in Heaven says the title card.
Ramya has shouldered the film from her consummate acting, lovely looks. Srinagar Kitty has got the stuff but fails to deliver it. A dozen of supporting actors are convincing in this film.
Jassie Gift is extremely good in music and Satya Hegde could get awards for his cinematography.
Verdict - Passable film if you like agonies!
